Year: Junior Major: Biomedical Engineering BS Research/Other Orgs: I am currently in Nanshu Lu Lab for bioelectronics working on biomedical E-tattoos and also on the iGEM synthetic biology team studying bacteriophages. I am involved in Longhorn EMS, HOSA, and the Engineering Honor Society Tau Beta Pi. I volunteer at Dell Seton and also as a project officer in UT SEEK and am an undergraduate learning assistant for chemistry. Hobbies and Passions: I like hanging out with friends in Austin and Dallas, playing basketball, tennis, and ping-pong and watching football (my favorite team is the steelers cuz I was born in Pittsburgh!) Also I like to watch tv shows on netflix, some of my favorites are breaking bad and narcos and like to bake stuff occasionally. Year: Sophomore Major and minor/certificate: Psychology BS, Pre-Health Certificate Research/other orgs: I am a CH302 Learning Assistant and a PSY301 TA, and a research assistant for the MEMORIES 2 and NightRest studies at the UT School of Nursing. I’m also a member of Texas Taekwondo! Hobbies & Passions: I love to bake! I love to bake for others (even though my food is NOT the best), as I believe food is a universal mediums to share and get to know people. I also love to help out with the elderly community, and have recently been helping out with Project Amity, a non-UT volunteer org that sends letters to senior care home residents. Major and minor/certificate: Chemical Engineering
Research/other orgs: I am currently a part of two other UT clubs: AIChE (a chemical engineering org) and Doctors Without Borders (a club focused on delivering humanitarian medicine around the Austin community). I regularly volunteer at the Dell Health Transformation Building in Austin and am also looking to get involved in chemical engineering research concerning the application of nanotechnology towards medicine.
Hobbies & passions: I love to play, watch, and live basketball (Spurs all the way). I also recently picked up chess and crocheting to consume my time.
One interesting fact about me: I am a second-degree black belt in tae kwon do.

Year: Sophomore Major and minor/certificate: Psychology B.S. I Pre-Health Professions Certificate I Spanish for Medical Professions Certificate Research/other orgs: I am part of the research project JUNTOS that analyzes the stressors faced by Latinx/Hispanic students in high school and college, that affect their education and well-being, in order to provide them with more resources and support. I am also part of the Latinx Health Professions Organization and of the international medical fraternity Phi Delta Epsilon, of which I am the Secretary/Risk Management Officer. I volunteer during summers at a pre-school in Mexico City, have recently become a 7 Cups Listener, and before COVID-19, frequently volunteered at Home Cooked Fridays. Hobbies & Passions: I enjoy running, biking, and doing obstacle courses. I love traveling to Mexico, going out with my friends, and watching Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube. My favorite shows are Money Heist, The Office, and Archer. I also love listening to music, especially in Spanish, with my favorite artist being Bad Bunny. Hobbies and passions: I have been an Indian classical dancer since the age of 4 and was on my high school dance tea for 3 years. Currently, I’m on a coed Bollywood dance team at UT! Dance is such an expressive art form and you have the opportunity to explore so many different styles! I also love baking, painting, and going on super long walks with my dog!
One interesting fact about me: I’ve lived in Austin my whole life!
